This was our first visit, but we will definitely be back. Hours after the meal, my husband is still talking about how much he enjoyed it. I had the she-crab soup...OMG! Some of the best I have ever had. He had the chicken pot pie soup...deelish, as well. My Cobb salad with blackened salmon and lemon thyme dressing was fantastic. His breakfast burger was "the best meal he's had in a long time at any Richmond restaurant". Our server was very nice and attentive. Five stars...y'all keep doing what you're doing. My only suggestion is that the musician was playing too loudly for that size restaurant. It made it difficult to talk across the table to our friends. The saxophonist was great, just a tad too loud for our liking.

We had a wonderful time here. We started with drinks and apps and then dinner. We never felt rushed, and our server, Ansel, was attentive and charming. I had a delicious porkchop, and all of the sides looked so good, I could hardly choose. You have to try the cornbread. There was also live jazz, which made for a dreamy atmosphere without being too loud.

Great happy hour service from hostess and bartender. Had several $7 food items and $5 sangria was a great recommendation. Street parking can be challenging but no different than anywhere else. Fresh table flowers are a nice touch too!!

What a well prepared gourmet meal! The best She Crab soup in Richmond. Every bite was filled with mouthful of crab meat. My daughter has the Chicken Pot Pie, it was delicious. Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf was spot on. We will definitely come back for the Crab Cake.

We hosted our 40th wedding anniversary there on Nov 5th. The side room was perfect for 29 people. The apps of pimento cheese, bruschetta, crab & artichoke dip and Brussels sprouts were great. The beet & apple salad and the spaghetti squash we had as salads were phenomenal. We all want the squash recipe! Entrees of pork chop, meatloaf and salmon were enjoyed by our guests as were the key lime, pecan and chocolate peanut butter pies. The let me bring some fall decorations for the tables and it was lovely.

10/10! Took a chance on this spot while visiting RVA and it exceeded our expectations. Really cool atmosphere and our server Lizzie explained the menu very well and provided great suggestions. We ordered two Blanchards Coffees, one with bourbon and the other with moonshine and they have a toasted marshmallow syrup you can have too. We ordered the Trash Plate with half home fries and half smokey gouda grits. And the shrimp and grits with chorizo. Both were amazing and full of flavor. I definitely recommend.

The brunch was great! Not a huge fan of the bacon but everything else was delicious. It’s a smaller restaurant so I’d recommend making a reservation before showing up (although they do take walk ins). Cool that they have live music as well. Would visit again!

Unique Cocktail Offerings, we tried the Apple-lachin and Stoic which are pictured. Great drinks that I highly recommend. Super friendly and accommodating staff and server. Menu has great options as every offering sounds great. Best burger I’ve had in some time. Would definitely return.

Had a good brunch at the savory grain. The breakfast burger was a bit of a shock with how tiny the biscuit was but after having the patty get a little more cooked by the kitchen it tasted amazing! Can’t wait to come back and try it again!
